On the 10th of August 2010 we have been granted a subsidy for the Krystyna Mining-Shaft renovation! The Krystyna Shaft was honored by the Silesian Voivode and was placed on the list of twelve premises, which will receive renovation subsidy from the Voivodeship’s budget. The Silesian Voivodeship Local Parliament will allocate 1 million PLN for registered Silesian monuments conservation, including our Shaft (91.000 PLN). The subsidy will be assigned for the shaft hoist tower reconstruction. We will keep you informed on the progress.

On the 5th of July, the chief designers Christoph Stadler  and Christian Althaus from the Stadler Golf Courses design studio paid visit to former coal mine “Szombierki” in Bytom for the third time.

The aim of the visit was to analyze the location of the holes, discuss the stages of making them and preparing the terrain for the project. The designers presented detailed outlines of the routes. Also the arrangement of the single-family houses surrounding the golf course was discussed. 

The next stage of the project is the calculation of the ground shifting. According to the schedule, later this year the golf course construction preparation works will be conducted, which will include pulling off the top layer of humus in the place of future fairways.  External experts will supervise the demarcation of routes and ground leveling.
